Overview

Blue screen when installing the Cloud Client Connector (either the Windows 32-bit or 64-bit client).

Blue screen when installing the Cloud Client Connector (Windows 32-bit client).

Blue screen when installing the Cloud Client Connector (Windows 64-bit client).

Using the Intel 82577 NIC (network card).

Cause
Resolution
The crash was caused by a problematic (and out-of-date) driver for the Intel 82577 NIC.
 
The NIC driver was over two years out-of-date.
 
By installing the current NIC driver, the blue screen issue was resolved.
