Overview

PacketWise's Response Time Measurement (RTM) feature gives you the means to offer and monitor Service Level Agreements. Using this feature, you can set acceptability standards and track whether performance meets those standards.

Cause
Resolution

To define the SLA for a service or application, you set a Total Delay Threshold and a Service Level Threshold. For details, see Set Thresholds in PacketGuide.

After setting thresholds, you'll want to monitor response times and determine the percent of transactions that completed within the Total Delay Threshold. For details on displaying this type of information, see Monitor Response Times in PacketGuide.
