Solution

Overview

We are trying to move to a new RADIUS server. Is there a command to remove the old RADIUS server from the Director 510?

Cause
Resolution

1. You may run the show radius command from CLI to identify the configured Radius server IP address as shown below.

director # show radius
Radius server configuration:
   Global timeout: 3 seconds
Global number of retransmission attempts: 3
   Global key:
   Global request-stype:
   Global privilege-response mapping:
      Privilege 1 :
      Privilege 7 :
      Privilege 15 :
   Server 10.1.1.1:
      Accounting port: 1813
      Authorization port: 1812
      Timeout:
      Number of retransmission attempts:
      Key:
      request-stype:
      privilege-response mapping:
         Privilege 1 :
         Privilege 7 :
         Privilege 15 :

For the example above, the Radius server IP address is 10.1.1.1.

2. You may remove this Radius server configuration with the no radius-server host <ip> command.

director # conf t
director (config) # no radius-server host 10.1.1.1
director (config) # exit
director # show radius
Radius server configuration:
   Global timeout: 3 seconds
Global number of retransmission attempts: 3
   Global key:
   Global request-stype:
   Global privilege-response mapping:
      Privilege 1 :
      Privilege 7 :
      Privilege 15 :
   No Radius servers configured.
