Solution

Overview

In this example, the customer is blocking www.youtube.com in the policy, but wants to allow embedded youtube videos in a website (http://www.mirial.com/products/ClearSea_desktop_video.html).

1. Launch the Visual Policy Manager.

2. In the Web Access Layer, add a new rule above the rule that denies www.youtube.com.

3. Create a Combined Destination Object in the Destination column.

4. Create a Request URL object with the Regular Expression Match option selected. Enter the URL in the RegEx field:

youtube.com/s?el=embedded

5. Repeat step 4 for each of the following URLs:

youtube.com/videoplayback

youtube.com/crossdomain.xml

youtube.com/get_video_info

youtube.com/embed

ytimg.com

6. In the Action column, choose Allow.
