There are problems viewing PDF files with Internet Explorer (IE) when using ICAP Patience Pages
Internet Explorer won't show PDF files

Cause
Resolution

The response header 'Accept-Ranges' which is returned when a Patience Page is being used, causes Microsoft Internet Explorer to display an error because IE was expecting a PDF file and not a Patience Page. If this problem occurs, you can configure your policy to remove the 'Accept-Ranges' header from the response.
