Why doesn't my IntelligenceCenter (IC) license show the correct number of devices?

Solution

Overview

When you purchase additional devices for an existing IC license, you must add the upgrade activation code to the base serial number, not the upgrade serial number. Currently there is an issue with the Blue Coat licensing server that allows you to add the upgrade activation code to the upgrade serial number.

If you think you have a this license issue, please call Blue Coat Customer Care, who can resolve the issue.
